Desperate to clear his debts after a string of disastrous investments in weather derivatives, small-time grifter Bick Banion agrees to transport a mysterious case known only as “the Whatsit." Who's he working for? Who's getting the short end of the stick? Who's behind all this cloak and dagger intrigue? Bick Banion's out to save his bottom line, not ask questions. 

 

This short film, soon to be released publicly at the conclusion of its festival run, was shot entirely on miniDV cassette tape and is a proof-of-concept for a feature film.
